Learn something new at lunchtime!
On Tuesday, October 7 at 12 pm, Jane Hicks, a professional quilter based in Staunton, will give a talk about her work, her designs, and the technique she uses. Hicks comes to us through the Artisans Center of Virginia, and her pieces are featured in the Virginia Artisans’ Room in the Museum Shop.
Our latest program featuring our new Highland Fare offerings, Shop Talk lunch and learn sessions take place on select Tuesday afternoons, provide insight and demonstrations from Ash Lawn-Highland staff, local artisans, and other members of our community in a relaxed, casual setting.
Shop Talk lunch and learn sessions are free and open to the public. Highland Fare, including sandwiches and salads delivered fresh daily, will be available for purchase in the museum shop. To place an order off our boxed lunch menu in advance, call 434-293-8000 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Outside food and drink will also be accepted.
Stay tuned for more upcoming shop talk lectures!
